Effortless Boho braid

From my daily obsessive Pinterest browsing, I tend to come across the most beautiful and striking hairstyles. My hair mood board is filled with romantic, chic, feminine hairstyles that I enviously admire but have little courage to attempt myself. I suspect that behind each picture there is a team of expert hairstylist because, surely, the average girl would not be able to achieve a hairstyle of such splendour with basic tools and high-street products! Am I right, or am I right?

Through all the gasp’s and aww’s of admiration, I eventually stumbled across a picture that looked easy enough to execute – even for myself. Three simple steps, and roughly five minutes of fiddling around, that’s all it took!

Although the pictures are pretty self explanatory, you too can achieve this hairstyle by following these simple steps:

1. Use a comb, or even your fingers, and separate your hair into sections. Don’t worry about the part not being straight or having a few fly offs, the beauty of this hairstyle is that it doesn’t need to be neat.

2. Weave two braids and secure both ends with a hair tie to hold them in place.

3. Join both plaits together, and secure them with a couple of bobby pins. I used five in total but if you have extra thick or long hair, I would suggest perhaps using a few extra. Fasten the end of both plaits into one with a hair tie.

Easy peasy! Please note that I used my Glaimi Halo Hair extensions to give my hair that extra oomph and volume – direct link HERE.
Waddya think? Yay or Nay?
Lots of love, Ana
